Urban Roots is proud to have six seasoned youth interns manning the Urban Roots booth at this year’s Mill City Farmers Market in Minneapolis. We are happy to join the ranks of the many vendors who use sustainable practices in growing produce.
This Saturday, September 6, will be our first booth of the season selling produce at the market. We have packed a variety of late summer/early fall crops to sell such as: arugula, tomatoes, ground cherries, eggplant, peppers, kale, tatsoi, shallots, beets, carrots and more.
Thanks in part to being a recipient of the Mill City Market Grant, our booth will be displayed at two more markets than last year.
Fall is here! Come visit us between 8AM and 1PM each Saturday at our booth located next to the Information Stand. Our youth interns and staff will be there every Saturday from September 6 through October 11. See you there!
