Sprouts in a Jar & Egg Carton- How seeds are formed

Students learn about the process of pollination in plants that require it for seeds to form.  They then use those amazing seeds to grow sprouts at home in a jar or tray.  Sprouts are the easiest thing to grow at home and can be added to a large variety of food to add freshness any time of year!

Time: 1-hour lesson, then 5 min. daily for a week
Ages: 5-18
