Raised Bed Garden Workshop
March 28 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Growing food in urban soil can pose health risks due to historic use of lead and other pollutants. Using a raised bed garden can help reduce exposure to potentially contaminated soil. During this workshop, residents of the East Side will receive galvanized steel materials to to build a raised garden bed, free of cost.
After completing the workshop, residents will receive free starter plants and compost for their raised garden bed in May. This initiative is a collaboration between Urban Roots, Ramsey County, and the District 2 Community Council. Use the link below to register!
