Eco-Stamp Donation Month at Mississippi Market

Eco-StampEach month Mississippi Market Natural Foods Co-op selects a nonprofit organization to feature for their Eco-Stamp donation program. This program allows shoppers to donate 5 cent bag credits whenever they bring their own bags to shop, and it really adds up!

Urban Roots is the July 2013 Eco Stamp donation recipient. Throughout the month our logo and mission will be featured on posters in both store locations.

Bring your own bag, shop and donate to us at the same time all month long!

Urban Roots – New Name!

We announced our new name, Urban Roots, at beautiful Dodge Nature Center on May 9, 2013 during a delicious dinner catered by World Street Kitchen and sponsored by Agribank. We enjoyed hearing from Agribank CEO Bill York, Haberman CEO Fred Haberman, staff, board, youth interns and alumni. Our new logo and website were designed by Andrew Weaverling, Creative Director at Labor.
