Intern wages
In the summer, a first-year intern earns a total of $2,295. Urban Roots provides about half of intern wages, with the City of St. Paul’s Right Track program funding the rest.
Produce donation
In 2025, we donated over half of the produce we grew – worth approximately $55,000 – to the community.
Storytime in the Garden
With St. Paul Public Library, a children’s storytime is followed by a garden activity at our Rivoli Bluff Farm and Restoration Site. Visiting authors receive a $400 stipend.
Bus rental for Camp du Nord
Each summer, we travel with our interns to Camp du Nord to build relationships with each other and nature. Bus rental is $5,000 for the trip.
