Taking applications for youth who want to make a difference!
Our summer 2016 paid youth internship applications are live! We partner with Right Track St Paul as a work host site to provide meaningful work experiences for youth ages 14-18 years old. This year marks the 19th season of working with young people in growing food, creating healthy meals and restoring native habitat on the East Side of St Paul. We have come a long way with our programs, starting with just 8 summer interns in the garden in 1997 to what has now blossomed into 60 summer interns involved in many dynamic work opportunities!

We will also be hosting Apps & Apps (Appetizers & Applications), an info session for youth interested in learning more about Urban Roots. Feel free come by our offices, 463 Maria Ave St Paul, anytime between 2:30-5:30 on Friday February 12 to meet staff, current interns and fill out the Urban Roots and Right Track applications with us!
